Circus Production
In film and in live theater, Claire uses her production prowess to support directors where ever possible. In 2019, she took over Les Aerielles, a circus troupe based in Oakland, CA at Trapeze Arts, Inc. She facilitated practices and began organizing and directing shows. Currently, she is working as a production manager for People’s Circus Theater with founder and director Felicity Hesed. She is excited to meld her love of production and circus arts.
Circus Center’s 40th Anniversary Showcase
Claire stepped into a new role as stage manager (along with a familiar role as production manager) to make sure the Circus Center Showcase was a success. Through her work, the show was organized, on-budget, and sold out!
The Nightingale
This is the first show Claire worked on as the production manager for PCT. She supported Felicity in her creation of this new show.
Based on the fairytale by Hans Christian Andersen, People’s Circus Theatre tells a magical and moving love story that explores themes of power, technology, nature, and possession in our signature style.
Reindeer Games
While working on the Winter Show for Circus Center, Claire also completed her tasks as production manager to make sure this show went smoothly. This project presented new challenges but went great and was so fun to experience.
Snowcase
Claire worked as a rigger on Circus Center’s annual winter showcase. She also helped with the flying trapeze act
Jump/Fall
Claire had the pleasure of choreographing a rope act for her former student Mia. She worked with director Juliana Neves to create an act that incorporated rope and spanish web. Mia also performed this act at the Aerial Arts Festival at Fort Mason.
